Edwin is the Chief Operations Officer at Zak Dental Care and ensures the company’s offices processes are aligned with the ability to provide excellent patient wellness. Edwin currently focuses on the company’s overall profit goals and expenditures, procurement and resource allocation, company-wide compliance of protocols, operational development, and administrative mentorship.

Before becoming Zak Dental Care’s Director of Operations in 2020, Edwin was Zak Dental Care’s regional manager and managed the company’s administrative and revenue processes, training processes, implementation of new systems, human resources, staffing, information technology infrastructure maintenance for 11 dental offices and 200 employees. During his tenure as a regional manager, the company achieved more than 100% growth through the acquisition of 6 dental offices, in addition to more than a 30% revenue increase among the existing offices.

Before joining Zak Dental Care, Edwin was the manager for a large dental corporation, where he earned the opportunity of managing a de novo office – an office whose performance is expected to be the example of the company – after excelling as a dental receptionist, dental treatment coordinator, and dental manager. Moreover, Edwin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
